Tools and Douchebags.
I’ve been here for a little over a month and I’ve had nothing but good things to say. But today I met this semester’s first douchebag.
There’s always more when there’s at least one.

But who is Justin Allen (23), Brett Linley (29), Matthew Weikert (29), Justus Bartett (27), Dave Santos (21), Jesse Reed (26), Matthew Johnson (21), Zachary Fisher (24), Brandon King (23), Christopher Goeke (23), and Sheldon Tate (27)? They are Marines that gave their lives this week for you. There is no media for them… not even a mention of their names. Honor THEM by reblogging this.
Time and time again, by varying voices, I was boldly told, “You will miss this” and I dismissed the sappy sentiment with a smug confidence like I won’t and would never. But what in the god’s name do I have to show for it now?

I admit I fell asleep for part of the SONA today. But apparently I didn’t miss anything.
PNoy made no mention of the budget cut, as if it wasn’t particularly significant that the educational sector of the country is being terribly neglected under his administration. There were several other major issues left unaddressed and of course a SONA can only be delivered upon a limited time....
